
Here’s one of my favorite travel photos ever. And it’s an auto timer shot with my Cannon balanced on the roof of my Beetle! Road trips offer up so many unexpected pleasures, like Tagwotee Pass (elevation 9,658′) near Dubois, Wyoming. Heading toward Grand Teton, I was suddenly surrounded by the splendor of thousands of wildflowers…in July! One of those surreal experiences you couldn’t plan!
